What Lotus is about

Billy is far from home when the alert goes out: a second wave of acid rain is on its way. There's no time to get back, so he takes shelter in a community bunker with five people he's never met. Worse still, his wife is somewhere else, and nobody knows how long they'll be apart.

You go through it with him. Billy has to face his fears, learn to share a cramped space with very different people and cope with the frustration of a wait with no end date. The game's simulators put you in situations where you can practice resilience safely: you try, you slip up, you get feedback and you go again.

As the story unfolds, you build a toolkit that works outside the bunker too: at the office, when change comes out of nowhere or the pressure is on.

FAQ

How long is Lotus and what do I need to play?

Lotus takes 1 h 45 min. All you need is a device with an internet connection. It's available in Spanish, English, French, German, Greek and Portuguese.

Can we add it to our LMS?

Yes. Run it from the Game Strategies platform or add it to your LMS (Cornerstone, Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.). Either way, you can follow each learner's and each group's progress in real time.

What does resilience training for employees look like in Lotus?

It's built around three dimensions: connecting with yourself, connecting with others and connecting with the future. You work on each one through Billy's story, practical situations and feedback on what to improve.

Can resilience really be learned?

Yes, and that's exactly what Lotus is built for: identifying what gets in your way, relying on skills like flexibility or grace under pressure, and practicing strategies that strengthen your ability to bounce back.
