The data is undeniable and more and more HR departments are embracing this approach moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Game-based learning in the corporate sector is particularly noteworthy, with an annual growth rate of 47.5%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as reflected in the <a href=\"https:\/\/seriousplayconf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Metaari_2019-2024_Global_Game-based_Learning_Market_Executive_Overview.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">recent Metaari study<\/a>. Furthermore, it\u2019s estimated that between 2019 and 2024, income generated on this front will grow six-fold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, why is game-based learning such an effective learning tool? Let\u2019s look at 5 cases that help us paint the picture:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.game-learn.com\/en\/resources\/blog\/dkv-seguros-spices-up-compliance-training-with-a-serious-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. DKV<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The insurance company has been using serious games to better train their teams across the board, even in mandatory and sometimes-boring topics like compliance. After the course, the idea that compliance training is boring had been shattered and turned into something to look forward to. But, following the method\u2019s continued success, they expanded its use to Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was possible thanks to what the game offers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s part of Gamelearn\u2019s multilingual platform of games, offered in at least 4 languages: English, Spanish, French, and German.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It gets rid of time constraints and the need for a physical classroom.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s easy because it\u2019s an adaptable cloud-based option that can be accessed anywhere and everywhere.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hyundai had a tangible training objective: improve its employee&#8217;s professional development and increase productivity. The most important thing for them was to convey the information effectively and in a way that the students wouldn\u2019t forget it.<\/p>\n<p>Magdalena Gonz\u00e1lez, Head of Training at the Ritz Hotel, assures us that <strong>the engagement she saw with the serious games was remarkable<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAttaching emotion to learning really helps and makes students want to keep playing, learning, and enjoying the process. Many students told me they were learning without even realizing it.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. They don\u2019t need to be in a specific classroom at a specific time; they can do it whenever their schedule allows. On the other hand, the company cuts costs related to traditional learning methods: transportation, materials, hiring teachers, opportunity costs, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, whatever training program they select has <\/span><b>the ability to reach more topics and people<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
