And without motivation, new concerns arise: lack of commitment, negative attitude, conformism, decrease in personal productivity, bad working environment&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hence, <strong>employee motivation<\/strong> has become a new and powerful field of research within corporate training. HR departments know this and so have tried everything until they hit the nail on the head: gamifying companies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a business network in which only 13% of employees feel motivated, <a title=\"Worldwide, 13% of Employees Are Engaged at Work\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gallup.com\/poll\/165269\/worldwide-employees-engaged-work.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">according to this study by Gallup<\/a>, the game becomes the most powerful tool in corporate training if this trend is to be changed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Gamifying<\/em>\u201d refers to the use of the principles and mechanics of the game in situations which have nothing to do with it. But, <strong>why are gamification techniques so effective<\/strong> in motivating employees? Here are five important reasons:<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. They build commitment and improve engagement<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The employee becomes a player with goals and tasks to accomplish within a framework of competition with others. They encourage proactiveness and interaction<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That\u2019s the social element of <a title=\"what is gamification\" href=\"https:\/\/www.game-learn.com\/en\/resources\/blog\/what-is-gamification\/\">gamification<\/a>. Employees interact with each other, share their experiences and generate new links which ultimately improve working environment and encourage <strong>proactiveness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. They amuse, entertain and captivate<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gamification is based on the game, and if you\u2019ve been a gamer, you know it amuses, entertains and captivates.
